LectorLectors proclaim the work of God at Mass. It is the lector's ministry to read the lessons from scripture and recite the psalms between the readings (if not sung), the Prayers of the Faithful and make the parish announcements for that week. Extraordinary Minister of Holy CommunionExtraordinary Ministers of Communion serve the Body and Blood of Christ at Mass to the faithful and to the sick and homebound. Those who are participate in this great privilege must distinguish themselves by their Christian life, faith, and morals and have a devotion to the Holy Eucharist and show themselves as examples to other faithful by their piety and reverence for this most holy sacrament of the altar. UsherUshers are parish volunteers that take up the collection and who assist people to their seat if necessary. Gift BearersGift Bearers are individuals or families that present the gifts of Bread and Wine to the Altar during the offertory. SacristanSacristans are responsible for preparing the altar for Mass and cleaning the altar following Mass. Some of the tasks include preparing the vessels, the correct amount of bread and wine, and placing them in their proper place.Sacristan must come a little early and stay a little later their assigned Sunday.
